Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate heavy trucks/tractor-trailers/flatbeds to transport Army equipment, vehicles, and Class IX materiel.
  • •Support equipment turn-in activities by hauling assets from Army units to the site or designated locations and assisting with loading, securing, and unloading.
  • •Perform PMCS before, during, and after operations and coordinate repairs for reported deficiencies.
  • •Maintain accurate records including driver logs, trip tickets, fuel records, and inspection sheets.
  • •Complete shipping and transport documentation (including DD forms) and comply with DOT, OSHA, Army, and HAZMAT rules while updating TC-AIMS II/GCSS-Army when required.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 23.17 hourly

Key Requirements

  • •Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL – Class A or B as required) and adherence to DOT/FMCSA safety rules.
  • •3–5 years of heavy truck driving experience; prior Army or contractor logistics experience preferred.
  • •Familiarity with Army transportation regulations (AR 55-355, AR 710-2) and DTR 4500.9-R.
  • •Must have a Real ID, a valid Texas driver’s license with proof of vehicle insurance, and be able to obtain/maintain a Common Access Card (CAC).
  • •Must obtain Tier1/NACI (Public trust) background eligibility; basic English proficiency and Microsoft Office proficiency required.
