Key Responsibilities

  • •Define and own Workday integration architecture standards, patterns, and governance frameworks for global HR technology.
  • •Architect, design, build, and maintain complex Workday integrations (Studio, Core Connectors, EIBs, Document Transforms, and RaaS) and high-volume scenarios like payroll and benefits enrollment.
  • •Own the engineering of the Workday MCP server and design permission-safe, idempotent, auditable agentic integrations for AI tools with human-in-the-loop gates.
  • •Drive production reliability and operational excellence across the integration portfolio, including SLAs, monitoring, alerting, reconciliation, root cause analysis, and runbooks.
  • •Ensure security and compliance for HR data flows (PII handling, audit controls, authentication/transport security) and manage sandbox-to-production deployment and change controls.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • •9+ years in enterprise technology, software development, or systems integration, including 5–6 years of hands-on Workday integration development across the full lifecycle.
  • •Hands-on Workday integration proficiency, including Workday Studio, Core Connectors, EIBs, Document Transforms, and RaaS report/API exposure.
  • •Expert proficiency in XSLT, XML, and JSON, and comfort with Java for Workday Studio custom steps.
  • •Experience building/integrating LLM-based tools, AI agents, or MCP servers with permission-safe access patterns and human-in-the-loop controls.
