Job Summary

Maintain and troubleshoot industrial process control systems to optimize plant and pipeline efficiency. You’ll perform daily support and software maintenance for BPCS, SIS, DCS, and PLC platforms (including Allen Bradley and Modicon), respond to after-hours emergencies, and handle program maintenance, archiving, and control narratives. Partner with operators, engineers, and maintenance teams; support lifecycle maintenance and assist with project lead duties and logic additions for DCS/PLC projects.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide daily maintenance and troubleshooting for BPCS, SIS, DCS, and PLC platforms, including responding to and clearing faults and performing software maintenance.
•Maintain and archive PLC/DCS programs, ensuring backups and the latest programs are available site wide.
•Develop best-practice procedures and documentation, and develop/review controls narratives to meet operations, safety, and compliance expectations.
•Respond to after-hours calls and serve as the main point of contact for DCS/PLC issues and emergencies, including DOT-covered pipeline response as applicable.
•Program and implement DCS/PLC logic additions, liaise with integrators/vendors, and assist with project lead duties and control improvements.

Salary: USD 93,000 - 139,000

Key Requirements

•3–5 years of related industrial programming experience and/or strong electrical and instrumentation skills with PLC programming.
•Experience modifying, maintaining, and installing process control systems including BPCS, SIS, DCS/PLC, and HMI software/hardware.
•Experience with Allen Bradley, Modicon, Delta V, Clear SCADA, or Honeywell systems with documented training.
•Ability to read and interpret repair orders, mechanical drawings, P&IDs, charts/diagrams, dials/gauges, and equipment manuals.
•Experience/training in process control system operations, process control program design/coding/networking, HMIs, and database management.
