Job Summary

Senior Power System Studies Engineer responsible for system design and engineering of power system components (substations, transformers, renewables), performing power system studies (load flow, short circuit, arc-flash, stability, reliability), and managing projects in the Netherlands. You will model and optimize systems, ensure IEC/IEEE/NERC compliance, and deliver technical documentation and reports in a hybrid work environment.

Key Responsibilities

•System design and engineering for power system components including substations and renewables
•Perform power system studies and analyses (load flow, short circuit, arc-flash, stability, reliability)
•Assist in planning, scheduling, and execution of power system projects; coordinate with stakeholders
•Conduct power system modelling and simulations to identify and resolve issues; optimize system performance
•Prepare technical documentation, design drawings, specifications, and maintenance procedures

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
•4+ years of experience in transmission line design, analysis, or construction
•Fluency in English; Dutch language is required
•Experience delivering construction projects in the Netherlands
•Strong analytical and problem-solving skills; effective communication and teamwork abilities
