Key Responsibilities

  • •Set up painting equipment by inspecting spray guns, replacing worn parts, preparing conveyors for parts hanging, and completing daily checklists.
  • •Prepare parts for paint application, including plugging, masking, DA, and other cosmetic duties as needed.
  • •Load and unload parts from the conveyor line using proper methods while checking for a quality paint finish.
  • •Apply powder paints to manufacturer specifications and use thickness & adhesion testing verification to control the process.
  • •Follow supervisor instructions, identify process issues, complete 5S duties, adhere to SQDC metrics, and manage required paperwork/computer transactions.
