Key Responsibilities

  • •Analyze and/or prepare journal entries, reports, budgets, and records related to financial accounting, gas accounting, or economic forecasting/budgeting.
  • •Perform calculations and analyses including interest, cash flow, financial ratios, pressure base/Btu conversions, discounts, variances, depreciation (book/tax), and projections/forecasts.
  • •Assist with development and maintenance of applicable spreadsheet models and/or distributed applications used in finance and accounting activities.
  • •Compile, verify, and prepare financial information such as forecasted vs. actual expenses, governmental/regulatory reports, invoices, reconciliation reports, and quarterly income statements.
  • •Provide information and assistance to employees and external stakeholders (governmental/regulatory agencies and auditing firms) regarding accounting processes and financial reports.

Salary: USD 68,000 - 102,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field with previous experience in accounting functions, or equivalent combination of education and accounting experience.
  • •Experience and knowledge of generally accepted accounting methods and procedures.
  • •Intermediate-level accounting experience in financial, property, account classification, or gas accounting.
  • •Experience researching, composing, reconciling, and preparing reports, invoices, studies, and correspondence related to the role.
  • •Experience using office equipment, computers, and applicable software, with skills in interpreting accounting documents, statements, and legal/contract information.
