Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide day-to-day oversight by delegating and prioritizing task execution, resolving roadblocks, and ensuring timely delivery of cloud DevOps services.
  • •Oversee the service catalog in partnership with federal and program leadership, identifying customer demands and owning the technical strategy and vision.
  • •Coordinate with Project Managers/Scrum Masters on project timelines, execution, resourcing, risk management, and status reporting; occasionally step into a project manager role for strategic team projects.
  • •Drive innovation and continuous improvement, incorporating automation and emerging technologies to deliver new services and improved ways of working.
  • •Oversee personnel management (recruitment, hiring, performance management, training, mentoring) and incident oversight, including coordination for resolution and after-action reporting.

Key Requirements

  • •BS/BA and 10+ years of experience in an IT-related discipline, or equivalent experience.
  • •Experience leading a technical team’s day-to-day execution across engineering, service delivery, Agile development, and project activities.
  • •People management experience, including recruiting, hiring, performance management, and mentoring/training engineers.
  • •Experience leading cloud engineering/DevOps modernization initiatives from planning through delivery.
  • •Hands-on experience with AWS and/or Azure across compute, database, storage, networking, identity, security, and platform services; including IaC/automation with Terraform and Ansible and Git-based workflows (e.g., GitHub).
