Key Responsibilities

  • •Observe, assess, document, and recommend construction work for acceptance or rejection based on contract requirements and compliance with approved construction documents, codes, and standards.
  • •Enforce the Contractor’s Quality Control Plan and verify testing, inspections, verification, and certification of work in place.
  • •Provide technical quality review and frequent, accurate assessments, documentation, and reporting to the GSA project team while coordinating with AECOM project management and specialty inspectors.
  • •Support project outcomes by assisting with schedule and budget preservation, addressing changes, and coordinating quality and progress reporting.
  • •Prepare correspondence, maintain official construction site records, and conduct formal and ad hoc meetings to resolve construction project issues while upholding safety and security policies.

Key Requirements

  • •BA/BS plus 6 years of relevant experience (or equivalent experience and/or education).
  • •Valid US Drivers license and ability to pass required drug screening.
  • •Construction competency with an architectural, engineering, or construction background, including prior lead inspector experience.
  • •Experience interpreting construction drawings and specifications and inspecting materials, workmanship, and installation methods.
  • •Familiarity with OSHA safety requirements on construction projects.
