Job Summary

Operate feed manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently at the Hermiston feed mill. Maintain quality by following CHS QA requirements for ingredient receiving, load-out, and bagging, and keep accurate production and FDA records in Excel. Mix and prepare livestock feeds to ensure accuracy and high quality, support production scheduling and inventory planning, and help with equipment maintenance and safe loading/unloading of trucks.

Key Responsibilities

•Operate feed manufacturing equipment safely and efficiently.
•Follow CHS quality assurance processes for ingredient receiving, load-out, and bagging.
•Record and document production and FDA requirements during shift, including entering data into Excel.
•Mix and prepare livestock feeds to ensure accuracy and high quality.
•Assist with production scheduling and inventory planning, and support equipment maintenance and safe loading/unloading of trucks.

Salary: USD 25.38 - 26.38 hourly

Key Requirements

•1+ years in production and/or operations.
•Experience in mill operations, manufacturing, or similar.
•Ability to work extended hours during peak seasons to meet business demands.
•High School diploma or GED preferred.
•Ability to pass required pre-employment screenings (drug, criminal, motor vehicle check, physical requirements, FMCSA Clearinghouse, if required).
