Job Summary

Design and execute EMC/EMI circuit card hardware work across the full product development lifecycle, including requirements capture, schematic capture, PCB layout, signal integrity analysis, and board stack-up and routing guidance. Support prototype build-up and troubleshooting, develop and run test plans, perform root-cause analysis, and coordinate hardware integration with system and software teams. Contribute to qualification testing and ensure compliance with environmental and performance standards.

Key Responsibilities

•Collaborate with a multi-discipline engineering team to develop hardware designs meeting system requirements and operational specifications.
•Lead circuit card design lifecycle activities including requirements capture, schematic capture, design documentation, signal integrity analysis, and board stack-up and routing guidelines.
•Coordinate and review printed wiring board (PWB) layouts; perform prototype board population (including soldering), component placement, and hardware troubleshooting and debug.
•Design, document, execute, and report on test plans; conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.
•Support qualification testing and integrate hardware with system and software teams to ensure compliance with performance, reliability, and environmental requirements.

Key Requirements

•Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. DoD Top Secret security clearance (Selected Candidate subject to a government security investigation/reinstatement and eligibility requirements).
•Typically requires a STEM degree and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience, or an advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years of experience.
•Practical circuit board design experience including schematic capture, PCB layout, and design guidance for board development.
•Experience applying military aerospace testing standards (DO-160, MIL-STD-461, MIL-STD-704).
•Ability to read/understand electronic schematics.
