Key Responsibilities

•Identity & Authorization Platform Development: Build and extend platform services that manage federated identity, authentication flows, and authorization enforcement across MeridianLink products; integrate with the centralized identity platform including token handling, session management, and tenant configuration; support product teams through their integration process and create repeatable, self-service tooling and documentation.
•Integration Engineering: Design and implement backend service integrations using REST APIs, event-driven patterns, and webhook delivery in Python; ensure multi-tenant data isolation and cross-product user identity considerations.
•AI-Assisted Delivery: Use AI development tools to accelerate design, implementation, and validation; contribute to AI harnesses and tooling to improve delivery throughput.
•Engineering Craft & Observability: Write unit/integration/acceptance tests; instrument services for observability; participate in on-call rotations and incident resolution.
•Collaboration & Growing Others: Participate in design reviews, provide mentorship to L1/L2 engineers, and contribute to internal docs and onboarding materials.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 81,500 annually

Key Requirements

•Hands-on backend development experience in .NET or Python with REST API exposure.
•Demonstrated experience implementing or integrating federated identity systems (OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML 2.0, JWT) in production.
•Strong understanding of authorization frameworks and policies (RBAC/ABAC) and how they are enforced across services.
•Experience with multi-tenant SaaS integration patterns and tenant-scoped configuration.
•Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools and applying AI workflows to design, validation, and delivery.
