Key Responsibilities

•Install, commission, diagnose, repair, and start up HVAC systems using knowledge of air conditioning theory, pipe fitting, air distribution, controls, and mechanical layouts.
•Plan and complete assigned project activities on time, interpreting drawings/plans/specifications and mounting/installing equipment and systems.
•Perform site surveys, replacements, modifications, and start-ups as requested; examine building layouts and coordinate on-site work with other trades.
•Maintain inventory/stock, equipment, and job documentation; record parts, materials, labor, and costs; submit required paperwork and reports.
•Provide technical support and training at customer sites; investigate customer concerns and implement corrective action; support project delivery and supervise technicians/subcontractors/vendors.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma (or equivalent) and typically 2-5 years of experience in commercial HVAC installation; technical school/formal training preferred.
•Operating knowledge of Microsoft Office and proficiency with a handheld computer (e.g., smartphone, iPad).
•Preferred state contractor licenses (e.g., HVAC journeyman, boiler operator, gas installer).
•Valid driver’s license for at least 12 months with no major or frequent traffic violations in the past 3 years.
•Flexibility to work overtime/weekends as required.
