Job Summary

Key Responsibilities

  • •Deliver high school math course content in a virtual environment, including live synchronous teaching (minimum 15 hours per week).
  • •Support students asynchronously by planning learning objectives, composing/sending emails, and using data to determine student needs.
  • •Monitor progress and manage grades, maintain grade book, and make placement/promotion decisions using formal and informal reports.
  • •Collaborate with families and Learning Coaches to build rapport and provide timely guidance on curricular and instructional issues.
  • •Travel occasionally for state testing/proctoring and face-to-face professional development, as required.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 40,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor's degree and six (6) months of student teaching experience.
  • •Meet requirements for a licensed teacher under the Ohio Revised Code and Ohio Administrative Code.
  • •Hold an Ohio Secondary Math Teaching Certificate (Integrated Math preferred).
  • •Pedagogical knowledge of the content taught and ability to apply critical thinking.
  • •Access to reliable high-speed internet and ability to work independently 40+ hours per week from a professional home office.
