Job Summary

Public Sector Named Account Manager will drive new business with government agencies and critical national infrastructure, manage large-scale tenders, onboard public sector clients, and expand footprints. You’ll craft strategic account plans, navigate procurement frameworks, and act as the trusted advisor between government stakeholders and Fortinet’s teams to win multi-year opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

•Drive new business within government agencies, critical national infrastructure, and public entities.
•Manage complex, large-scale public tenders and onboard public sector clients.
•Develop strategic account plans for current and upcoming tender opportunities and track upcoming tenders to create a predictable pipeline.
•Coordinate with internal teams (System Engineers, Channel Partners, Public Sector specialists) to deliver tailored solutions.
•Conduct regular business reviews with public entities to optimize value and ensure compliance alignment with Fortinet investments.

Key Requirements

•Proven enterprise sales experience in hi-tech, preferably cybersecurity or networking, with a track record of quota over-achievement.
•Deep knowledge of public procurement laws, complex tender mechanisms, and framework agreements.
•Experience managing long, complex sales cycles and large public sector accounts.
•Highly motivated self-starter with a strategic mindset, exceptional attention to detail, and a drive to secure critical infrastructure.
•Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to bridge technical requirements and public policy/governance objectives.
