Key Responsibilities

  • •Interact with guests in a friendly demeanor and cultivate regular guests for repeat business
  • •Successfully complete a pour test prior to each shift (where applicable)
  • •Suggestively sell beverages and menu items, deliver orders promptly, and prioritize/organize drink orders
  • •Prepare beverages according to standard recipes and venue specifications, and record equipment failures/safety hazards in bar logs
  • •Request proper identification for guests appearing under 30, refuse alcohol service when intoxication is apparent, and perform Opening/Running/Closing duties including POS check handling and cash pull/check out

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 12.96 - 17.05 hourly

Key Requirements

  • •California Responsible Alcohol Awareness Training Certification (or equivalent) / Licensee certification requirement
  • •Ability to work late hours and maintain a flexible schedule
  • •Cash handling experience and ability to lift or move up to 25 lbs
  • •Interpersonal communication and teamwork skills
  • •Ability to pass a pour test and a mixology drill (timed) and deal positively with intoxicated guests
