Key Responsibilities

  • •Oversee software application development projects and a team of junior developers.
  • •Allocate resources and plan programming work to ensure applications function properly.
  • •Define and document product requirements, user stories, and epics, and execute against the product backlog with agile teams.
  • •Lead multiple project teams across all stages (solution design, analysis, coding, testing, integration) for complex products and platforms.
  • •Provide Android domain expertise and software engineering leadership across cross-organization projects while mentoring less-experienced staff.

Key Requirements

  • •Four-year/graduate degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or commensurate work experience.
  • •Typically 7-10 years of work experience in applications engineering, programming, or a related field.
  • •Strong programming and analytical skills in C/C++/Java/Kotlin.
  • •Deep understanding of Android architecture, including framework layers (System/Native services, Window Manager, Package Manager, Power manager).
  • •Experience with HAL/JNI layers, native IPC (AIDL), and debugging/profiling (crash/memory/panic).
