Key Responsibilities

  • •Advise clients on procurement strategies, manage vendor prequalification, assess proposals and bids, recommend outcomes, and lead bid interviews/vendor appointments.
  • •Lead estimating throughout the project lifecycle, including developing/reviewing estimates, presenting to clients, recommending value engineering, and assessing risks using benchmarking data.
  • •Manage cost reporting and forecasting: establish reporting schedules, review/present cost reports, maintain commercial risk registers, and run periodic meetings with project teams and vendors.
  • •Support cost control by reviewing payment applications, coordinating contractor entitlements, evaluating change order requests, and helping resolve payment/change/contractual issues.
  • •Manage final account negotiations, post-contract audits, project closeout, lessons learned, and handover procedures, adhering to any applicable SOX control responsibilities.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 120,000 - 135,000 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Cost Management, Quantity Surveying, Engineering, or a related construction field.
  • •Minimum 5-7 years of relevant experience in a cost management role within the construction industry.
  • •RICS accredited or working toward accreditation preferred.
  • •Experience leading cost management on medium to large construction projects of moderate to high complexity.
  • •Strong understanding of construction industry technical matters (procurement routes, value management, value engineering) plus excellent stakeholder communication.
