Key Responsibilities

  • •Coordinate pipeline operations and maintenance work to support plant and pipeline systems, ensuring compliance with governmental and company policies and procedures.
  • •Perform hot tapping/stopple equipment tasks, valve maintenance, pigging (launch/monitor/receive) and develop pigging plans.
  • •Operate and maintain heavy excavation equipment (including hydrovac truck and other equipment) and manage excavation spotter tasks and crossings.
  • •Conduct pipeline testing and inspection activities such as pressure tests, leak surveys, calibrate/maintain holiday detector, and prepare pipelines for sleeves/anomaly repairs.
  • •Handle field administrative duties (ordering/receiving parts, timesheets, expense accounts), represent the company with contractors/vendors, and identify/report safety and environmental concerns.
Travel: Extensive travel

Key Requirements

  • •Must follow all safety, environmental, and regulatory policies, including proper handling and disposition of hazardous waste.
  • •Strong mechanical skills and knowledge of heavy equipment maintenance procedures.
  • •Ability to operate heavy pipeline excavation equipment and large trucks.
  • •Ability to read and interpret company policies/procedures, O&M manuals, and blueprints.
  • •Must have or acquire and maintain a valid CDL driver license and maintain a satisfactory driving record.
