Job Summary

Deploy to customer sites as the primary on-site technical representative, executing statement-of-work scopes and operating Lumafield scanners. Run scans and perform Voyager analysis for defect detection, dimensional measurement, and assembly verification, then support ML model implementation and integration into production workflows. Partner with project managers, collaborate with applications and product teams to resolve on-site issues, and document everything so customers can continue after you leave.

Key Responsibilities

•Deploy to customer sites for engagements, execute the agreed scope of work per the SOW, and serve as the primary on-site technical representative.
•Operate Lumafield scanners and plan/run scans across a range of parts, materials, and inspection objectives.
•Perform Voyager analysis for defect detection, dimensional measurement, assembly verification, and workflows aligned to customer use cases.
•Support ML model implementation, including data collection, validation, and integration into the customer’s production workflow with Lumafield ML and product teams.
•Support customer training and adoption, partner with project managers on scope/timeline/deliverables, and document scans, analyses, deployments, and training for continuity after you leave.

Key Requirements

•B.S. in engineering.
•3+ years of professional experience in solution engineering, or in manufacturing, process, or industrial engineering in a production environment.
•Familiarity with manufacturing processes such as machining, casting, injection molding, additive manufacturing, stamping, or assembly.
•Experience with continuous improvement and process control methodologies such as Lean, Six Sigma, SPC, or PFMEA and how they intersect with inspection and quality work.
•Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to lead technical conversations, run trainings, and represent Lumafield independently on-site.
