Job Summary

Manage and administer Linux infrastructure for secure lab environments, supporting implementation, deployment, and maintenance of Linux solutions. Work with Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) and Ubuntu Server, handling server services, networking and storage, virtualization, backup/restore, and restoration tickets. Collaborate cross-functionally, assist in resolving service requests across Tier 1–Tier 3 support, and contribute to automation, hardening, and internal process improvements in support of Secure Labs projects.

Key Responsibilities

•Administer Linux-focused technologies including RHEL and Ubuntu Server across assigned projects.
•Support implementation, deployment, and maintenance of Linux solutions, including automation, hardening, and operational stability.
•Handle service requests and restoration tickets, using technical knowledge to resolve issues.
•Work with networking, storage, server hardware/services, virtualization platforms, and backup/restore tools.
•Assist with escalations and contribute to internal process improvements (LEAN/ACE/CORE).

Key Requirements

•Minimum 5 years of relevant experience (or an advanced degree with minimum 3 years of experience).
•Linux systems administration experience with RHEL and Ubuntu.
•Server administration and virtualization experience (e.g., VMware).
•Networking fundamentals and familiarity with compliance frameworks (NIST 800-53).
•DoD Secret clearance needed day one and ability to obtain IAT Level II certification (e.g., Sec+).
