Key Responsibilities

  • •Ensure 100% readiness to respond to any emergency situation on site.
  • •Maintain safety and occupational health for plant people, operations, company assets, and the environment through planning, inspection, monitoring, follow-up, and resolution of HSE and fire-safety issues.
  • •Gather updates from the market/other industries on the latest fire situations, precautions, and responses, and report to the Fireman for directions and implementation.
  • •Follow and adhere to organizational and departmental policies, processes, standard operating procedures, and instructions.
  • •Support continuous improvement by contributing to identification and implementation of change initiatives, programs, and projects; perform other assigned duties.

Key Requirements

  • •High School or Technical School graduate.
  • •NEBOSH (or equivalent) certification in safety.
  • •At least 5 years of related professional firefighting experience.
  • •Experience in a power plant or manufacturing environment preferred.
  • •Demonstrate strong safety consciousness, responsiveness, and initiative.
