Key Responsibilities

  • •Collaborate with engineers and contribute to discrete and embedded hardware products.
  • •Be responsible for some of AMD’s discrete and embedded hardware products.
  • •Work with training to build applications for external and internal use.
  • •Help build large-scale systems that improve efficiency of the AMD Hardware organization.
  • •Work full time (40 hours/week) during the co-op/intern term in a hybrid or onsite structure.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 83,200 - 124,800 annually

Key Requirements

  • •Currently enrolled in a US-based university in a Master’s program majoring in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering (or related field).
  • •Knowledge/experience with C/C++, Verilog, VHDL, Python, Perl, Spice, Ruby, Chrome OS, and/or MATLAB.
  • •ASIC design and verification experience.
  • •Experience with system/board design, circuit board layout, signal integrity, and power design.
  • •Knowledge/experience with hardware automation, validation and test, UNIX and JTAG tools, and pre-silicon and/or post-silicon platforms.
