Job Summary

Oversee Environmental, Health, Safety and Security programs at the Rome, NY site. Partner with senior and line management to develop and execute EH&S and Security initiatives that improve performance and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local requirements. Lead incident investigation and risk assessment practices, run training programs, support audit readiness, and advise sustainability efforts such as water use, greenhouse gas reduction, and recycling improvements.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide leadership and build partnerships across all levels to improve site EH&S culture.
•Ensure EH&S regulatory compliance with federal, state, and local requirements.
•Respond to emergencies and urgent issues; establish and support timely incident investigation to prevent recurrence.
•Conduct risk assessments, ensure adequate controls, oversee EH&S training, and maintain readiness for oversight audits (e.g., OSHA VPP, ISO 14001).
•Provide guidance on EH&S/Security performance trends and root-cause corrective actions for injuries and near misses; advise on environmental sustainability initiatives.
