Job Summary

Operate haul trucks for Texas Materials to support construction and infrastructure projects in Texas. Follow company safety policies and OSHA/MSHA regulations, complete daily pre/post-trip inspections and maintain mileage logs. Load and unload materials, monitor gauges, and perform minor servicing and maintenance while keeping the truck clean and orderly. Assist with training and general labor as needed, while maintaining a safe work environment and professional conduct.

Key Responsibilities

•Properly follow company policies and procedures for safe working procedures and environment, and report problems to your manager.
•Perform daily pre/post-trip inspections with appropriate documentation in compliance with MSHA guidelines and company policies.
•Maintain daily vehicle mileage logs and monitor various gauges during operation.
•Load and unload equipment/materials as needed, and assure product quality to the best of the driver’s ability.
•Perform minor servicing and maintenance of equipment; refer major problems to the Foreman, and keep the truck clean and orderly.

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or GED preferred.
•Previous related experience in the construction field is preferred.
•Must pass pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.
