Job Summary

Lead the strategic development of Ajax Systems' data architecture as Head of Data Warehouse & MDM. Consolidate sources into a single source of truth, design the target tech stack (AWS, GCP, Databricks, SAP), and grow the data engineering & MDM team. Ensure data quality, security, lineage, and cost optimization while enabling self-service analytics for business units.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead the consolidation of existing data sources and warehouses into a single source of truth.
•Define and implement the target data architecture and technology stack (AWS, GCP, Databricks, SAP).
•Manage and develop the data engineering and MDM teams.
•Oversee data quality, security standards, lifecycle management, and data accessibility for multiple business units.
•Build end-to-end data lineage from source systems to financial reporting.

Key Requirements

•5+ years in leading Data Engineering / Data Warehousing
•Successful experience consolidating large data warehouses or performing large-scale data migrations
•Hands-on experience with Python, SQL and Infrastructure as Code (Terraform or similar)
•Understanding of modern automation approaches for data (CI/CD for data, dbt, Airflow)
•Hands-on experience with Big Data stacks (Databricks, BigQuery or Snowflake)
