Job Summary

Support development engineering tests either on the manufacturing line or in a lab environment. Interpret engineering and technical instructions, troubleshoot tool/process issues, and recommend improvements to meet performance goals. Execute and run experiments with high fidelity, then compile and analyze test data to evaluate experimental outcomes. Work under daily supervision using standard procedures, and follow Environmental, Quality, and Safety policies at all times.

•Support DE tests in the manufacturing line or perform testing in a lab environment.
•Interpret engineering and technical instructions into actions and experimental outcomes.
•Assist with troubleshooting tool/process issues and suggest system improvements for performance goals.
•Compile and analyze test data from performed testing.
•Follow standard procedures and Environmental/Quality/Safety policies under daily supervision.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 18.89 - 26.44 hourly

Key Requirements

•High school diploma or equivalent with 4 years of relevant technical experience, or 2 years of experience as an Engineering Test Support II at First Solar.
•Associate’s degree in an engineering discipline or similar technical discipline with 2 years of relevant technical experience, or 1 year as an Engineering Test Support II at First Solar.
•Ability to perform sample testing, semiconductor device fabrication, and/or electrical or optical measurements.
•Ability to operate lab and process equipment, including calibration and preventative maintenance.
•Intermediate knowledge of MS Office and some knowledge of SQL/JMP; can communicate regularly with associates.
