Key Responsibilities

  • •Own full vendor lifecycle—from sourcing and negotiations to tracking renewals and ensuring the company buys the right tools and services at the right price.
  • •Manage vendor relationships across categories including software/IT, marketing/events, travel, employee onboarding, and professional services.
  • •Guide stakeholders through purchasing decisions by aligning options and strategy while keeping procurement disciplined and moving deals forward.
  • •Balance business needs with commercial terms, vendor risk, and long-term partnership health, coordinating security, data privacy, and liability review with Security and Legal.
  • •Drive savings and better terms by cutting waste, consolidating redundant tools, reclaiming unused licenses, and rigorously comparing options in the market.

Key Requirements

  • •5+ years in procurement, strategic sourcing, vendor management, or commercial negotiations, ideally in-house at a high-growth technology/software company.
  • •Independently own vendor negotiations, contract management, and renewal tracking across multiple functions and spend categories.
  • •Proven ability to evaluate vendors competitively and negotiate favorable pricing and terms while holding firms on payment/renewal protections.
  • •Coordinate security and data privacy reviews and review core contract risk terms with Legal/Security (e.g., SOC 2, DPAs).
  • •Build procurement processes from the ground up, including intake/PO workflows, spend visibility, and lightweight tooling in partnership with Finance and Legal.
