Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide financial oversight of the project, including budgets, forecasts, commitments, change orders, and cost performance from kickoff through closeout.
  • •Deliver financial insights, forecasting, and reporting to support project decision-making.
  • •Oversee capital asset accountability, capitalization, construction-in-progress tracking, and project closeout; ensure spending/contracts/invoices align to scope and budgets.
  • •Maintain compliance, audit readiness, contract compliance, and internal controls with ongoing risk management.
  • •Partner with engineering, construction, procurement, operations, vendors, and finance teams; provide leadership with clear visibility into project costs, cash flow, and risks.

Key Requirements

  • •Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field and 5+ years of professional accounting experience (or equivalent).
  • •2+ years of demonstrated experience in team management/development or project leadership.
  • •Strong project accounting, capital project controls, forecasting, variance analysis, accruals, commitment tracking, and cash-flow management.
  • •Experience validating purchase orders, receipts, invoices, vendors, contracts, quotes, change orders, assets, and project closeout documentation.
  • •Proficiency with SAP and financial reporting tools including Microsoft Office/Excel and financial modeling; strong audit-ready recordkeeping.
