Key Responsibilities

  • •Own timely delivery of RCA and Regulation Management work against agreed milestones and outcomes.
  • •Oversee engineering delivery across discovery and architecture through build, test, deployment, production support, and continuous improvement.
  • •Embed Agile outcome-led delivery with prioritised backlogs, sprint ceremonies, demos, and regular business feedback.
  • •Champion DevSecOps and modern SDLC practices including trunk-based development, automated testing, CI/CD, deployment automation, infrastructure as code, observability, and secure coding.
  • •Drive reliability and controls by strengthening “you build it, you run it” ownership, incident learning, production health reporting, and major incident escalation coordination.

Key Requirements

  • •Proven track record overseeing delivery across a large, globally distributed technology estate.
  • •Technical credibility across architecture, code quality, APIs, data flows, build pipelines, automated testing, CI/CD, deployment practices, observability, and resiliency.
  • •Substantial experience delivering in complex, regulated environments using Agile product delivery and DevSecOps practices.
  • •Practical capability with Git-based workflows, trunk-based development, CI/CD pipelines, release engineering, and secure delivery controls.
  • •Experience improving engineering quality and production readiness, including incident learning, automation, reduced toil, and reliability/delivery flow improvements.
