Key Responsibilities

  • •Oversee Japan event strategy for short- and long-term business needs.
  • •Serve as a strategic thought partner across Events & Screenings and related teams (Publicity, Photo & AV Studio, Awards, Comms, Marketing, Content).
  • •Lead cross-functional and cross-regional collaboration to achieve high-impact event and campaign goals.
  • •Manage budgets, title staffing, and day-to-day team management, including forecasting based on title prioritization.
  • •Conceptualize and deliver consumer-centric event experiences, including adapting to hybrid/virtual formats and managing external vendors/agencies.

Key Requirements

  • •12+ years of events experience, preferably in entertainment, including managing, executing, planning, and staffing events at an agency, studio, network, or brand.
  • •Experience as a people manager.
  • •Strong ability to work independently and under pressure, exercising sound judgment in ambiguous situations.
  • •Strategic, resourceful, and creative problem-solving skills with the ability to pivot quickly and maintain a positive attitude.
  • •Excellent communication in Japanese and English (fluency is a plus).
