Job Summary

The Health Navigator will provide client-centered case management and health navigation services to newly arrived Afghans and other refugees, helping them access insurance, primary and specialty care, transportation, and interpretation while coordinating with cross-department teams to meet grant goals and reporting requirements.

Key Responsibilities

•Provide case management services, coaching, and connection to resources and benefits as part of a World Relief team.
•Promote long-term self-sufficiency in accessing health care through strengths-based case management.
•Maintain timely and accurate documentation within grant-funded program requirements and reporting.
•Collaborate with cross-departmental staff and external service providers to ensure holistic client integration and referrals.
•Review client progress with Program Manager and participate in ongoing training to improve service delivery.

Travel: Low travel

Pay and Benefits

Salary: USD 24.21 - 25.4 hourly

Key Requirements

•Bachelor’s degree in social work or related field; or equivalent work experience
•Mature and personal Christian faith; commitment to World Relief values
•Strong communication skills, with fluency in written and spoken English
•Cross-cultural experience
•Desire to serve and empower vulnerable communities; access to personal car for local travel
