Key Responsibilities

  • •Operate commercial trucks safely and efficiently.
  • •Conduct equipment inspections and report issues to the Supervisor.
  • •Maintain equipment and keep trucks and work areas clean, neat, and orderly.
  • •Communicate effectively with hatchery personnel, maintenance staff, growers, and supervisors regarding farm conditions and other relevant information.
  • •Place each load as directed and follow housekeeping schedules, biosecurity protocols, and company safety/quality standards; complete other duties as assigned.

Key Requirements

  • •Hold a valid Class A CDL with 12 months of verifiable tractor/trailer experience within the previous 36 months.
  • •No positive drug or alcohol test within the previous 5 years.
  • •Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing and follow written and verbal directions.
  • •Good hand and eye coordination and working knowledge of driving and traffic rules.
  • •Ability to lift 50 lbs or more and operate a manual CMV.
