Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide technical support for operation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of node, source, streamer, and automation electrical systems.
  • •Support design, evaluation, integration, and commissioning of new equipment, upgrades, and modifications.
  • •Develop and review electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, technical specifications, and technical documentation.
  • •Investigate technical issues and equipment failures, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
  • •Support maintenance and reliability activities, including testing/calibration, failure analysis, and contributing to improvement initiatives to reduce downtime.

Key Requirements

  • •Degree or diploma in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or equivalent technical experience.
  • •Several years of experience supporting marine seismic acquisition or offshore energy in a complex technical/industrial environment.
  • •Strong knowledge of electrical, electronic, and control systems used in marine seismic acquisition.
  • •Ability to diagnose and resolve complex electrical/electronic faults, including root cause analysis (RCA) of failures.
  • •Proficiency developing, reviewing, and interpreting electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications.
