Job Summary

Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs on BYD electric vehicles, troubleshooting EV systems including high-voltage components and battery systems. Ensure repairs follow manufacturer guidelines and EV safety standards, complete inspections, and support Electronic Vehicle Check (EVC) reporting. Work with supervisors and the team to minimize vehicle downtime and deliver excellent customer service, while maintaining up-to-date EV technology knowledge.

Key Responsibilities

•Perform diagnostics, maintenance, and repair work on BYD electric vehicles.
•Diagnose and troubleshoot EV systems, including high-voltage components and battery systems.
•Carry out repairs according to manufacturer guidelines and EV safety standards to minimize downtime.
•Perform vehicle inspections and support Electronic Vehicle Check (EVC) reporting.
•Follow high-voltage safety procedures, workshop processes, and 5S standards while using parts/tools/resources efficiently.

Key Requirements

•2–3 years of experience as an Automotive Technician, Diagnostic Technician, Service Technician, General Repair Technician, or EV Technician.
•Hands-on experience performing diagnostics, maintenance, and repair work.
•Knowledge of electrical, electronic, and automotive systems, including an understanding of EV technology, battery systems, and charging systems.
•Ability to use diagnostic tools and interpret technical manuals.
•Good English communication skills and strong attention to detail in quality workmanship.
