Key Responsibilities

  • •Perform structural analysis and review of concrete dams, spillways and appurtenant structures.
  • •Lead conceptual to detailed design of dams and structural components of dams.
  • •Oversee inspection, investigation and condition assessment of existing dams.
  • •Provide construction support, including inspection of works, evaluation of quality control/quality assurance data and construction reporting.
  • •Prepare tenders and proposals and provide mentoring to junior engineers.

Key Requirements

  • •Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering or related discipline (essential).
  • •Demonstrated capability in structural design, including the preparation of design reports, design drawings and specifications, ideally within the dam industry.
  • •Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • •Ability to develop and nurture relationships with internal stakeholders, clients and the local industry, whether through project work, client initiatives or industry associations.
