Key Responsibilities

  • •Maintain smooth operation of voice and data networks, including planning and performing installation and/or reconfiguration of network hardware/software.
  • •Develop technical expertise in network interconnection and interfacing (e.g., switches, routers, firewalls, authentication servers, encryptors).
  • •Work with network management software platforms and monitor/analyze networks for short- and long-range planning.
  • •Prepare and maintain network documentation (operational instructions, technical diagrams, and other required materials).
  • •Coordinate third-party maintenance for network equipment/vendors as needed and support uptime/redudancy planning.

  • •Experience configuring and troubleshooting Cisco routers, switches, firewalls, and/or intrusion detection systems, including software upgrades.
  • •Active and transferable US government-issued Secret security clearance required prior to start date; US citizenship required.
  • •Willingness and availability to work outside normal business hours (evenings/weekends) as needed.
  • •Certifications: Security+ within 6 months and CCNA highly desired within a year.
