  • •Start up and commission new HVAC/environmental-control systems and perform diagnosis and repairs.
  • •Serve as direct customer contact on assigned projects, ensuring satisfaction through identification, diagnosis, and repair at customer locations.
  • •Coordinate with team leader and customer to understand on-site installation/repair requirements, forecast issues, gather materials, and synchronize work.
  • •Maintain up-to-date knowledge of Trane products related to installation, operation, maintenance, service, and repair of DDC systems.
  • •Enforce safety standards and maintain security/accountability of company-issued and procured assets by recording use, wear, and conditions.

Key Requirements

  • •High School Diploma or equivalent; typically 3-5 years of HVAC/Controls experience.
  • •Operating knowledge of Microsoft Office and proficiency with a handheld computer (e.g., smartphone, iPad).
  • •Valid driver’s license for at least 12 months with no major or frequent violations (including DUI, Hit & Run, or license suspension) in the prior 3 years.
  • •Previous experience with DDC (direct digital control) systems preferred.
  • •Technical School or formal training preferred; EPA preferred.
