Job Summary

Lead legal counsel for the Land and Air Defense Systems (LADS) international portfolio, advising business and legal leaders on capture and program execution. Key Responsibilities

•Advise LADS business leaders as a strategic legal partner on international opportunity capture and program execution matters.
•Provide legal guidance on U.S. and international laws, regulations, and compliance requirements to identify risk and implement compliant solutions.
•Review, draft, negotiate, and advise on international government or commercial agreements (including transactions, teaming, joint ventures, IP licenses, and NDAs).
•Support international award and execution by advising on cross-border structuring, contract requirements, local rules, and operational considerations in non-U.S. jurisdictions.
•Advise on program lifecycle issues, including stand-up, in-country execution, risk identification, issue resolution, claims, disputes, and enforceability concerns; help manage outside counsel and legal budgeting.

Key Requirements

•Typically requires 12 years of legal experience, including 8+ years at a law firm, in-house, or government.
•Juris Doctorate from an accredited U.S. law school.
•Currently admitted and in good standing with at least one U.S. State bar, and eligible to represent as in-house counsel in the job location.
•Experience reviewing, drafting, negotiating, and advising on government or commercial agreements, including international DCS contracts, offset and industrial participation agreements, and supplier/partner collaborations.
