Key Responsibilities

  • •Provide oversight of contractor compliance with contract requirements and standards under the USACE 3-phase inspection program, including inspection levels, testing procedures, and deficiency correction documentation.
  • •Complete and maintain comprehensive field records, including daily reports, field measurements, computations, and observations.
  • •Participate in technical review of submittals and development plans for conformity to USACE standards and specifications.
  • •Document construction observations, issue discrepancy notices for non-compliant items, and develop punch lists based on infrastructure walkthroughs.
  • •Attend construction progress and weekly contractor meetings; provide construction photographs; ensure safety and USACE/building-code compliance; support tests, demonstrations, and field instructions.

Key Requirements

  • •HS plus 10 years of related experience (or demonstrated equivalency through experience and/or education).
  • •US Citizen.

  • •10+ years as a construction project inspector on large, complex, multimillion-dollar DoD construction projects (preferred).
  • •Knowledge of the USACE Three Phase Inspection Process and EM 385-1 safety requirements (preferred).
