Key Responsibilities

•Develop and maintain relationships with broker partners and customers across all industries to support business objectives.
•Leverage Property and Casualty underwriting acumen across risk assessment, exposure evaluation and pricing to generate and maintain a profitable book of new and renewal business.
•Collaborate across business units including claims, finance, risk engineering, actuary, and technical underwriting to gain knowledge in a growing and innovative industry.
•Use technical underwriting, negotiation and interpersonal skills to grow and develop relationships with preferred distribution partners in an assigned territory.
•Be based in Philadelphia with a hybrid schedule, maintaining visibility in the marketplace by being in the office or market three days per week.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: 79,600 - 172,300 annually

Key Requirements

•High School Diploma or Equivalent with 3+ years in Underwriting or Market Facing area (or 6+ years in Claims or Underwriting Support)
•Zurich Certified Insurance Apprentice with an Associate Degree and 1+ year in Underwriting or Market Facing area (or 4+ years in Claims or Underwriting Support)
•Knowledge of line(s) of business and regulatory guidelines; knowledge of time restraints for quotes on new and renewal business; Microsoft Office experience
