Serve as the primary service and maintenance contact for customers in a defined commercial market, troubleshooting, repairing, and commissioning HVAC systems. Coordinate with team leaders and customers to plan on-site installations and repairs, using hand tools, blueprints/specifications, and cutting-edge technology. Ensure safety standards and maintain accountability for company equipment while delivering high customer satisfaction from initial setups through retrofits.

Key Responsibilities

•Coordinate with team leaders/project managers and customers to understand on-site installation and repair requirements, forecast issues, gather materials, and synchronize work.
•Serve as the direct customer contact and ensure satisfaction by diagnosing and repairing HVAC equipment and systems at customer locations.
•Use software/technology and hand tools, following blueprints or engineering specifications, to diagnose and repair units.
•Maintain flexibility to work overtime and weekends as needed, including occasional overnight stays.
•Enforce safety standards and maintain security/accountability by recording use, wear, and conditions of company/procured assets.

Travel: Low travel

Key Requirements

•High School Diploma or equivalent, typically 5+ years of HVAC experience; Technical School or formal training preferred.
•Technical understanding of air conditioning theory, pipe fitting, and mechanical layouts to diagnose and repair HVAC systems.
•Operating knowledge of Microsoft Office and proficiency with handheld devices (smartphone, iPad).
•Valid driver’s license for at least 12 months with no major/frequent traffic violations, including restrictions around DUI and certain offenses.
•EPA Certification required. Ability to work in diverse, physical working conditions (including lifting up to 10 lbs regularly, 40 lbs frequently, and occasional heavier lifting).
