Job Summary

Build and evolve Visa’s Model Control Plane (MCP), an AI-native internal platform that orchestrates, governs, and scales Legal GenAI and agentic workflows. Design secure, governed APIs/SDKs for AI systems to access enterprise legal systems of record, implement policy enforcement with AuthN/AuthZ, audit logging, and rate limiting, and drive platform excellence for scalability, resiliency, and observability. Collaborate with Product and TPMs, mentor engineers, and run POCs for emerging GenAI technologies.

•Architect and evolve the MCP Control Plane that governs Legal GenAI interactions and agent-driven workflows.
•Design agent-ready APIs/SDKs/contracts to securely connect AI systems with enterprise legal data and tools.
•Build governance and security capabilities including policy enforcement, AuthN/AuthZ, audit logging, rate limiting, and multi-environment deployment.
•Design and implement connectors/adapters for legal systems of record and drive scalability, resiliency, and observability.
•Lead end-to-end engineering (system design through coding, test automation, and production support), mentor engineers, and run POCs for emerging GenAI technologies.

Key Requirements

•5+ years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor’s degree, or 2+ years with an advanced degree (e.g., Masters, MBA, JD, MD), or 0 years with a PhD, or alternatively 8+ years of relevant work experience.
•Expertise in Python, JavaScript, and NoSQL.
•At least 3 years building applications using modern JavaScript frameworks such as Angular, Node JS, or React.
•Experience developing and architecting large-scale, production-grade applications.
•Experience with agile development and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery using tools such as GIT, Maven, and Jenkins; NoSQL databases like MongoDB/Cassandra or PostgreSQL is preferred.
