Job Summary

Support the Controlling function by owning period-end closing, financial reporting, reconciliations, and financial analysis for real estate finance. Maintain the general ledger and chart of accounts, prepare monthly financial statements and management reports, and support internal/external audits. Handle intercompany reconciliations, cost allocations, revenue and cost recognition, and VAT-related accounting. Participate in ERP implementations and automation initiatives to improve financial governance and reporting efficiency.

Key Responsibilities

•Manage month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing activities to deliver accurate, timely financial reporting.
•Maintain the integrity of the general ledger and chart of accounts, including account classifications and cost center allocations in line with standards.
•Prepare and distribute monthly financial statements, management reports, balance sheet reconciliations, and analytical reports.
•Support internal and external audit activities by preparing audit schedules and providing required documentation per Group Finance policies.
•Perform intercompany reconciliations and cost allocations, and ensure accurate processing of revenue/cost recognition and month-end journal entries (accruals, prepayments, closing entries), including VAT-related transactions.

Key Requirements

•4+ years of experience in accounting or finance, preferably within the real estate sector, with proven period-end closing and general ledger accounting experience.
•Knowledge of Egyptian Accounting Standards (EAS) and IFRS, including financial statement preparation and balance sheet reconciliations across monthly/quarterly/yearly closing.
•Experience preparing management reports, performing financial analysis, and supporting business decision-making through accurate and timely reporting.
•Hands-on experience with SAP financial applications and ERP systems, including supporting enhancements, process improvements, and finance automation initiatives.
•Advanced Microsoft Excel and Power BI skills, including managing large datasets and developing reports and dashboards.
