Key Responsibilities

  • •Support developmental tests in the research and development line by operating processing equipment, manual processing, test equipment, and metrology tools.
  • •Ensure tests are completed per schedule, including sample acquiring, testing, and data entry for development tests.
  • •Communicate immediately any abnormal findings on the product or testing equipment.
  • •Perform basic analytics to ensure proper tool operation and correct execution of tests.
  • •Work under daily supervision following standard procedures and written instructions; assist with other tasks and adhere to safety and housekeeping standards.

Key Requirements

  • •High school diploma (or equivalent) plus 2 years of relevant technical experience in manufacturing or a lab environment, or 1 year as an Engineering Test Support I at First Solar.
  • •Ability to follow verbal and/or written instructions and test plans.
  • •Competence using tools and operating equipment (robots, conveyors, and human/machine interfaces).
  • •Basic computer skills (Word, Excel, Teams) with the ability to learn and use JMP and SQL for scripts and simple dataset analysis.
  • •Ability to repetitively handle glass coupons, plates, and finished modules; proven communication skills and attention to detail.
