Job Summary

Support the development of early lifecycle concepts within FCAS, helping shape next-generation fighter aircraft through system integration and systems engineering activities. Lead or assist technical studies to inform requirements, architecture, and system concepts, assess viability and interoperability, and contribute to risk, assumptions, and dependencies. Engage in meetings/workshops and coordinate planning while collaborating with internal teams, customers, and subject matter experts.

Key Responsibilities

•Lead or support technical studies to inform system requirements, architecture, and concepts.
•Support assessments of system concepts including technical viability, adaptability, and interoperability.
•Attend or lead meetings and workshops to progress studies.
•Contribute expertise to understanding risks, assumptions, and dependencies.
•Attend planning and coordination meetings and report on work progress.

Pay and Benefits

Salary: GBP 49,400

Key Requirements

•Experience using systems engineering techniques and approaches such as Model Based Engineering (MBE) and associated methods/toolsets.
•Ideally, integration experience with a complex engineering product using structured toolsets (e.g., CAMEO toolsets).
•Able to work effectively in teams and also independently as a proactive self-starter.
•Strong ability to build partnerships with internal and external customers.
•Experience informing system requirements, architecture, concepts, and supporting assessments of system concepts.
