Key Responsibilities

  • •Prepare and deliver allocated training courses and associated materials according to the authorized syllabus and training schedule within TMIS.
  • •Invigilate and mark examinations and assessments, and continuously assess, evaluate, and report trainee progress.
  • •Develop, maintain, and manage squadron personnel competencies, including supporting the Squadron Training Cell.
  • •Ensure safe practical training delivery, including PPE use, equipment pre-use checks, and keeping training areas in a safe condition.
  • •Maintain discipline of allocated trainees and support Training Instructor roles (e.g., Course Coordinator, Subject Lead, training aircraft and equipment coordinator) when appointed.

Key Requirements

  • •Hold a Training Qualification at Level 3 or above (e.g., Level 3 Award in Education & Training, Level 4 Certificate in Education & Training, or Level 5 Diploma in Education & Training).
  • •Hold an NVQ3/ONC (or equivalent) qualification in a relevant aircraft maintenance discipline.
  • •Have at least 5 years of recent, in-depth experience supporting training activities in a Maintenance & Support environment.
  • •Have minimum 2 years of experience delivering aircraft Type training with operational knowledge of instructional delivery and mentoring.
  • •Understand the regulatory framework and be able to apply training structures, processes, and performance metrics.
