Key Responsibilities

  • •Deliver lessons that inspire student success and achieve best possible outcomes.
  • •Encourage inclusion within the classroom across the school at all levels.
  • •Observe, assess, and identify priority areas for SEN Students to support targeted interventions.
  • •Develop IEPs and coordinate care plans, maintain accurate assessment and progress records.
  • •Follow behaviour policy and manage classes effectively using approaches appropriate to students’ needs.

Key Requirements

  • •BA in Special Education or Education or Psychology with PGCE or equivalent teaching qualifications and certifications.
  • •Minimum 1-2 years teaching experience.
  • •Experience supporting students whose English is not their first language.
  • •Maintain accurate records and develop Individual Education Plans (IEPs) for SEN students.
  • •Recent and consistent involvement in extra-curricular activities.
