Job Summary

Lead the design, development, and technical support of air compressor product portfolios, including mechanical/structural and packaging design. Execute NPD and i2V projects through the Phase Gate process, driving OTD and FPY, and optimize solutions using engineering best practices. Manage engineering plans across quality, cost, schedule, and risk, lead system integration and system architecture execution, maintain design documentation, and collaborate with global stakeholders.

•Lead the designing, developing, and supporting of air compressor product portfolio technical work.
•Execute NPD and i2V projects using IRPX Phase Gate process while meeting OTD and FPY.
•Serve as a mechanical/structural/packaging design technical expert, optimizing designs with best practices.
•Manage project delivery on time, to specification and cost, including quality, cost, schedule, and risk assessment; report progress to leadership.
•Lead system integration, project planning, engineering proposals, system architecture validation, and maintain design documentation for verification and traceability.

Key Requirements

•7+ years hands-on experience in new product development for industrial products (e.g., air compressor, genset), preferably industrial capital equipment.
•7+ years of hands-on CAD modeling and layout skills with assembly/manufacturability-friendly design using Autodesk Inventor.
•Experience generating BOMs, working with global PLM, and applying tolerance stack-up and GD&T.
•Track record executing projects (2-4#) involving multi regions and multiple teams with medium to large complexity industrial designs.
•Strong verbal and written communication skills.
