Job Summary

Lead end-to-end technical activities across the sales cycle for public sector and defense customers, from RFIs through RFPs/RFQs and active POC participation. Serve as the primary technical point of contact for customers and partners, translating cybersecurity requirements into competitive solutions. Improve product and competitive knowledge continuously, present solutions remotely or in person, manage multiple deals, and maintain accurate technical account information in Salesforce (CRM).

Key Responsibilities

•Lead all technical aspects of the sales cycle, from initial RFIs through RFPs/RFQs, including project management and participation in POCs with internal teams and customers/partners.
•Understand customer technical requirements and translate them into solutions that outperform competitor offerings.
•Serve as the primary technical point of contact for customers and partners, in close collaboration with your sales partner.
•Continuously improve knowledge of Fortinet products/solutions and maintain a deep understanding of the competitive landscape and evolving threats.
•Position Fortinet solutions to customers remotely or in person and maintain accurate technical CRM activity, contact, and account information.

Key Requirements

•Have high aptitude for cybersecurity across domains such as network security, SIEM, endpoint security, incident response, and forensics (CISSP accreditation beneficial).
•Currently or previously work in a pre-sales engineer role managing end-to-end technical aspects of deals through technical closure.
•Demonstrate problem-solving skills and how they have driven key wins in your current organization.
•Build and maintain customer relationships and communicate technical concepts effectively to external and internal stakeholders.
•Understand firewall, intrusion prevention, sandboxing, encryption and hashing, and be familiar with ZTA.
