Key Responsibilities

  • •Carry out hands-on inspections of plant and equipment at client sites such as factories and warehouses.
  • •Prepare electronic reports of examination following inspections for fast and efficient delivery to clients.
  • •Assess installations, anticipate problems, and help clients comply with relevant legislation.
  • •Examine integral equipment items including pressure vessels and boilers.
  • •Support and deputise for fellow Engineer Surveyors as required, and handle documentation and administration.

Key Requirements

  • •Hold at least a Level 3 qualification in a relevant engineering discipline (preferably Mechanical Engineering) or be actively working toward an equivalent credential.
  • •Have experience working with steam generation, compressed air, and associated plant, ideally in manufacturing (QA/production), maintenance, operations, repair, and site inspection.
  • •Maintain up-to-date knowledge of compliance and regulatory rules and procedures for the Pressure Mechanical discipline.
  • •Demonstrate strong customer interaction skills with effective oral and written communication.
  • •Hold a full valid UK driving licence and be able to independently organise your weekly work plan.
